Red root is a widely recommended herbal formulation used by patients and practitioners as a strategy to remove cellular and protein type debris from the lymphatic system.
It is sometimes paired with boneset as a more optimized detoxification strategy by physicians when treating protozoal and parasitic organisms.
There are no scientific studies supporting use of red root for lymphatic flow.
Many experienced practitioners do not use boneset as it contains it a small amount of pyrrolizidine, which can be hepatotoxic (harming the liver.)
