Margie Raimondi wins court battle over Lyme disease benefits, according to a recent appeals court decision. Raimondi, a long-time officer on the Morris County Park Police, was attempting to prove that she was due disability and illness benefits secondary to her longstanding case of Lyme disease.

Raimondi maintained that she was infected with the Borrelia organism during mounted patrols through heavily wooded areas such as the Loantaka Brook reservation in Morris County.
